After years of continual failure and at the brink of wanting to give up, I met a man who changed my life…
He was a wise and VERY wealthy man who seemed to have it all...
I also noticed that he appeared to be happy and content, which isn’t always true of wealthy people.
This man told me something that shook me to the core..
After he uttered these words, I knew my life was never going to be the same.
“Set a big, challenging goal and then pay any price to make it happen. You need to overcome any obstacle until you finally achieve it.”
At that moment, I made a decision... I stopped hoping and decided…
Focusing on one challenge then completing it. Then another challenge and completing it became a pattern of success my entire life.
I might even have a challenge up my sleeve just for you shortly. It might just change your life like my mentor’s challenge changed mine.
Now making a decision is VERY important... It is an essential step to a successful life.
However...
It is NOT the one thing I would do that would shortcut my way to results.
I have rambled on long enough here...
There are TWO THINGS I would do that would shortcut my way to results.
I already told that a wealthy man guided me to set a challenge and then do it.
When that man challenged me to be different.. It was a moment that changed everything.
That was the moment I stopped hoping and decided…
I decided I was never going to make an excuse again.
I became responsible for my results.
The first challenge I set for myself was to study success.
I studied endlessly.. I read books on everything related to success.
I read books about human potential.
I read books about owning and running a successful business.
I read books about sales.
If it was a book that had anything to do with success, I read it.
As a matter of fact, I created a habit of learning.
To this day, I still read three hours a day.
A Funny thing happened..
I found myself acting differently….
I started to feel a little more confident…
Taking on the challenge of personal development and learning was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
My next challenge I set for myself was to make more money.
It was time to take action!
I looked around and noticed that the people who made the most money were sales people.
So I got a sales job. I watched the people who were making all the money and learnt from them.
I progressed from saying all the wrong things to starting to know what to say and when to say it.
For the first time in my life, I started making real money. Challenge accomplished.
I started creating systems and step by step processes for success..
A few colleagues asked me if I would show them how to do it..
Challenge accepted..
I said yes..
Then they got results…
Challenge accomplished..
I decided to do a seminar.. To challenge myself to see if I could help a bigger audience.
My first seminar had almost nobody there. I didn’t care.
I loved helping people and it made me feel alive and excited when the lightbulb went on for others.
The gift that was given to me, I wanted to give it to others..
It became my mission..
The crowds got bigger and pretty soon, I was doing seminars all over Canada.
Seminar challenge accomplished..
Challenge accepted. Challenges accomplished.
What happened next changed everything. It completely transformed my life.
